Barbara Bateman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Bateman of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on September 14, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Humphries and Wilhemine Haney Gretter; her husband Holder Smith Bateman, Jr.; and her daughter Sharon Leigh Roberts. She is survived by: her daughter Janice B. Carriere (Johnny); her grandsons, John Michael White and Gregory Bateman White (Laura); her great grandchild Tucker Maxime White; her siblings, Michael Haney Gretter (DeAnne) and Louise Gretter Noe (Clinton "Jack"); and her nieces and nephews, Bonnie Noe Woodall, Jeff Noe, Mark Gretter, Robert Gretter and Tresea Gretter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Amory, MS.
