He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, T. J. Thibodeaux and Mary Lou Thibodeaux; his daughters, Christie Lacassin (Ryan) of Carencro and Crystal Serrette (Jarrod) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Averi, Finnly Lacassin and Milo Serrette; his brother Eddie Dean Thibodeaux of Arnaudville; his former wife Rose Marie Guidroz; his brothers, Arthur Ray Thibodeaux and John Vickman Thibodeaux; and his sister-in-law Betty Thibodeaux. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
