He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Roy Shay. He is survived by: his mother Treva Shay; his daughter Gabrielle Gene Shay; and his siblings, Paula Loeffler, Stephanie Guidry, Jennifer Ward, Earl Shay and Troy Shay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Louisiana Memorial United Methodist Church (515 E Bellevue St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
