Sam, III of Opelousas, LA and Felicia Lynette Sam (James) of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Merrick Sam of Houston, TX, Leroy Sam (Bonnie) of Houston, TX, Marion Sam (Donna Mae) of Port Barre, LA, Julius Sam of Opelousas, LA, Donald Sam (Rose) of Opelousas, LA, Ronald Sam of Opelousas, LA, Carl Sam (Cheryl) of Opelousas, LA, Barbara Hunt of Houston, TX, Florene Jones (Enoch) of Houston, TX and Veronica; and his grandchildren, Alaeciah Thomas, Aniya Thomas, Ja'Michel Savoy, Chad Sam, Jr., Montaze Sam and Nehaeh McCoy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
