He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Burleigh Freeman; his parents, Wilson Freeman and Rose Sam Freeman; his daughter Monica Freeman; his siblings, Chester Freeman, Wilfred Freeman, Velma Malveaux, Eula Babineaux, Ollie Young and Elvina of Washington; and his grandson Brandon Forbes.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Freeman (Stacey) of Opelousas, LA, Larry Rosette (Carol) of Plaisance, LA and Cindy Forbes of Houston, TX; and his sister Willie Mae Guillory of Plaisance, LA.
