He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kevin Savant and Alexis Jackson; his great grandchildren, Jada Fields, Sanaa, Sah and Mari Savant; his siblings, Dorothy Achen of Beaumont, TX and Ferlis Ellis of Houston, TX; and his niece Shirley Esprit of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
