He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Dominick Miles; his parents, Emma Leday Miles and John Quincy Miles, Sr. (Clementine Thomas Miles); his children, John Al Miles, Sr., Karen and Sharon Miles; and his son-in-law Nathan Boutte, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Miles (Elizabeth) of Flower Mound, TX and Marilyn Boutte of Lafayette, LA; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Miles of Opelousas, LA; and his grandchildren, John Al Miles, Jr., Luther Boutte (Kayla), Chris Miles, Jr. (Tamera), Brittney Miles, Dylan Miles and Taylor Miles. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Little Zion Baptist Church (832 E North St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
