He is survived by: his children, Paul Hilts, Sr. (Stephanie) of Opelousas, LA, Abraham Hilts (Michelle) of Dallas, TX, Annie Rose Thomas of Lafayette, LA, Nettie Rose Thierry (Leland) of Lafayette, LA and Diane Roy (David) of Lafayette, LA; and his sister Mary Hammond of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.
