He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eugene Tanner, Sr. and Mojorie Rubin Tanner; his uncles, Eugene Tanner, Jr. and Michael Tanner; his grandparents, Lones and Shirley Deselle; and his cousin Charlotte Rubin.
He is survived by: his parents, Shirley Tanner of Alexandria, LA and Donald Dobbins of Baton Rouge, LA; his daughters, A'Reauna Tanner of Morrow, LA and Ameena Russell of Alexandria, LA; his siblings, Dondre Dobbins of Baton Rouge, LA, Ladonis Celestine of Orlando, FL and Marquita Williams of Houston, TX; and his godmother Carolyn Pickney of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
