He is survived by: the mother of his children Lois Y. Mouton of Duson, LA; his children, Blair Young of Prairie Ronde, LA, Brittney Young of Duson, LA and Bianca Mouton of Jennings, LA; and his siblings, Richard Young, Sr. (Gertrude) of Prairie Ronde, LA, Lucinda Y. Sonnier of Opelousas, LA, Albertha Y. LaChapelle of Frilot Cove, LA and Catherine Young of Prairie Ronde, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Williams Funeral Home - Opelousas (817 E South St, Opelousas, LA 70571). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
