He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma North Cherry and Earl Cherry; his wife Dorothy Cherry; and his siblings, Abe Cherry, Linda Ryder and Sue Naron.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Kay Thompson, Tina Murphrey, Keith Cherry and Lynda Gayle Cherry; and his grandchildren, Jerilynne Cherry (Jeremy), Casey Jeffery, Damon Cherry, Dougie Murphrey, Angela Ketten, Heather Simons, Tommy Murphrey, Amber Taylor, Brandy Duchesne and Cody Duchesne. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
