With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roland J. Abshire Sr. of Olla, Louisiana, who passed away on June 19, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ozar "Red" Abshire and Beulah G. Abshire; his children, Tina Louise Rodriquez and Roland J. Abshire Jr.; his sister Barbara Cruz (Bobbie); and his grandson Tyson Abshire.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda S. Abshire; his children, Anthony James Abshire Sr., Huey Paul Abshire, Colinda Marie McLaughlin (Louis), Jamica Kaye Breaux and Brittney Brooks (Joshua); his stepsons, Marvin Wayne Baum (Christy) and Dennis Warren Baum (Nikki); his grandchildren, Robert, Louis, Dina, Anthony Jr., Breanna, Destiny, Sasha, Coey, Summer, Dolores, Dennis, Kacey, Coby, Mary, Jason, Thomas, Dustin, Joshua, Joel and Corbin; and his sister Judy Dupuis (Lonnie).
