He was predeceased by: his parents, Eular Ashworth and Myrtie Perkins Ashworth; and his siblings, Roy Ashworth, Donnie Ashworth, John A. Ashworth, Floyd Ashworth, Michael Ashworth, Mable Wilson, Rhonda Voiselle and Madeline Naquin.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Bratton Ashworth; his children, Dustin L. Smith, Cheyenne M. James, Amanda Phillips, Casey Ashworth and Samantha Silk; and his siblings, Murrel Ashworth, Barbara Ann Holland, Kathy Townley, Tammy Marshall and Nelva Moras. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
