She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Lamar Bates; her son Bradford Keith Bates; and her siblings, Rene Carter and Jimmy Bradford. She is survived by: her children, Rona Barbo (Steve), Patrick Bates (Cheryl) and Craig Sherrill (Jeffrey); her siblings, Daisy Black, Betty Skipper, Wanda Stewart, Bonnie Champlin, Judy Champlin and Ronnie Bradford; her grandchildren, Morgan Barbo, Britton Barbo, Madison Bates and Nathan Bates; and her stepgrandson John Brady Sherrill.
