She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Cruse; her parents, Buford Smith and Eunice Morris Smith; her daughter Patricia Ann Cruse "Pat"; her siblings, Dorothy Travis, Lewis Smith and Clyde Smith; and her grandson Clayton Barnhill.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Cruse (Tammy), John Cruse (Karmon), Clyde Cruse, Betty Jones (Garland) and Eunice Taylor (Ricky); her brothers, Cecil Smith and JB Smith (Janette); and her close friends, Linda Sellars and Carolyn Keen.
