He was predeceased by: his parents, Henderson A. Cowden and Frances Ellington Foster Cowden; his siblings, Thomas W. Williams, Betty R. Cowden and Janice L. Stone; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Williams and Ellis Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Kennedy Cowden; his siblings, Linda S. Davis of West Monroe, Wanda E. Fatheree (Billy) of Grayson, Bonnie M. Clark (Joseph) of Columbia and Raford M. Williams of West Monroe; his stepsons, Eugene Moore and Jimmy Moore; and his grandson Jackson Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
