It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cooksey of Olla, Louisiana, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Cooksey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lee Cooksey and Henry Oscar Cooksey. He is survived by: his wife Ann Grabill Cooksey; his daughters, Karen Rose (Tom), Carol Ann Casagrande (Dominic) and Catherine Traylor (Daniel); his grandchildren, Sarah Rose, Grace Rose, Sophie Casagrande, Claire Casagrande, Charlotte Traylor, Lilly Traylor and Margot Traylor; and his siblings, Betty Nethery (Tom) and Hank Cooksey (Marcia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
