He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lyndle Maxwell and Ernastine Wooley Maxwell; his sister Mary Maxwell; his wife Barbara Buxton Maxwell; his son Adam Butler; his brother Rodney Maxwell (Rachel); his grandchildren, Kailey Butler and Bella Butler; his nieces, Stacey Maxwell and Bridget Dugger (Michael); and his nephew Ryan Bergeron.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riser Funeral Home - Olla (4823 Main St #165, Olla, LA 71465). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Olla Cemetery (2962 Front St, Olla, LA 71465).
