He is survived by: his wife Tonda Smith; his children, Tara Douglas of Olla, Steven Douglas (Ann Peyton) of Pontotoc and Nicole Long (Todd) of Urania; his grandchildren, Ali, Kinsey, Landry and Will; his namesake Charles Maddox; his granddaughter Emma Kate; and his brothers, Eual Douglas and Rod Douglas of Olla.
