He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Poole and Lena Roark Poole; his wife Juanice; his son Ronald "Bubby" Poole; his siblings, Bo Poole, Enoch Poole, Bennie Poole, Clifford Poole, Buddy Poole, Nelda Mitcham, Kay Wells and Ineta Brodnax; his granddaughter Kendall Ann Montpelier; and his son-in-law Elvis Montpelier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Retta Pritchard (Chuck), Rita Montpelier (Shelby) and Rhonda Montpelier (Gary); his daughter-in-law Amy P. Pardue (Jimbo); his grandchildren, Jeremy Montpelier, Adam Montpelier (Terry), Tyler Montpelier, Ethan Montpelier, Caleb Pritchard, Sydney Spinks (Samuel) and Anna Spence (Luke); his great grandchildren, Parker Montpelier, Thea Montpelier, Landon Spinks and Logan Spinks; and his sisters, Beth Coleman (Roy), Jakki Richardson (Donny) and Sissy Beckley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
