With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Batts of Oil City, Louisiana, born in Castor, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McLaughlin and Ocia McLaughlin; her parents-in-law, Barney and Virginia Batts; and her brother Randy McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Batts; her sons, Kevin Batts (Mary), Kyle Batts (Kathleen) and Kory Batts (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Keagan Batts, Spencer Batts, Alyssa Rutherford, Malynda Hudson, BreeAnne Cannon (Garrison), Alyssa Jacobs (Collin), Kaitlan Weston (Tanner), McKenzie Thatcher, Allison Brown, Emily Batts, Katie Dee Batts and Ally Sullivan; her brother Jerry McLaughlin; her sister-in-law Kathleen "Sissy" Gholson (Robert); and her friend Margie Otwell. She is also survived by 15 greatgrandchildren.
