With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Mae Warner of Oil City, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lela Mae find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Letha Lavasta and Joseph Marcus Owens; her husband Bruce Warner Sr. (Patty) of Cookson, OK; her siblings, Versie, Floyd Owens, Minnie Looney and Elaine Player; and her grandson Allan Morris Jr..

She is survived by: her niece Gail Hartley; and also, Darlene Morris (Dale) of Mooringsport, Ted Warner (JoAnn) of Shreveport, John Warner (Connie) of Vivian and Clara Warner of Oil City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, a host family and friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery (220 Hamill St, Oil City, LA 71082).
