She was predeceased by: her parents, Taunice Vidrine and Agnes Vidrine; her former husband Kenneth Taylor; her husband Perry Smith; her siblings, Rogers Vidrine, Harold Vidrine, Rodney Vidrine and Barbara Oliver; and her daughter-in-law Tina Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Terral Taylor (Kim) of Oberlin, Michael Taylor of Oberlin, Scott Taylor (Erin) of Oberlin and Michelle O'Connor (Roy) of Oberlin; and her sisters, Nelda Fontenot of Kinder and Medina Hensley (Don) of Kinder. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
