It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Manzay Ryder (Oberlin, Louisiana), who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manzay Rider and Ida Rider; his former wife Genevieve Ryder; his daughter Regina Ryder; and his sister Janette Rider.
He is survived by: his sibling Jerry Ryder; his children, Jeffery Manzay of Oberlin and Nikki Danielle (Barrett) of Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Logan Cyrus and Mikayla Gail; his wife Charlotte Ryder of Oberlin; his daughter Shonda LeGrande of Monroe; his grandchildren, Logan Chapman and Mikayla Chapman; and his great grandchild Haisleigh Chapman.
