He is survived by: his siblings, Webster Bryant of Stockton, California and Evia Miles of Kinder; and his children, Mary Guillory of Houston, Arthur Lee Artis (Irene) of Houston, Joyce Jones (Jesse) of Houston, Cantina Guillory of Houston, Earl Artis, Jr. of Oberlin and Michael Artis of Oberlin. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
