He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Manuel; his parents, Alexson Manuel and Edna Manuel; his granddaughter Lanie Brooke Manuel; and his great grandchild Lainey Katherine Heinen.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Manuel (Kristy) of Oberlin, Greg Manuel (Edith) of Oberlin, Boobie Manuel (Jenny) of Oberlin, Jeremy Manuel (Jayme) of Kinder and Dana Hebert (Trampus) of Oberlin; and his brother Joe Manuel (Patsy Manuel) of Lafayette.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rush Funeral Home - Oberlin (301 S 6th St, Oberlin, LA 70655). A rosary was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rush Funeral Home - Oakdale (113 S 11th St, Oakdale, LA 71463). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (110 5th Ave, Oberlin, LA 70655).
