She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlen Whisenant, Sr. and Juanita Joles Whisenant; and her brother Arlen Whisenant, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Welch, Sr. of Crews; her sons, Bobby Welch, Jr. of Crews and Jason Welch (Amy) of Pineville; her siblings, Jimmy Whisenant (Barbara) of Edina, Missouri, Linda Whisenant of Winnfield and Virginia Whitehead (Alan) of Winnfield; her sister-in-law Irene Whisenant; her niece Lynn Hearne of Shreveport; and her grandchildren, Karsyn "Lil' Bit and Wright.
