He is survived by: his wife Betty Bonds Bass of Calcasieu; his children, Roy Bass, Jr. (Willie) of Baton Rouge, Darrell W. Bass (Julie) of Calcasieu, Brenda Salard (Joe) of Marco, Donna Stracener of Pineville, Peggy Gunter (John) of Calcasieu, Melvina Horton (Gordon) of Elmer and Sharon Bass of Calcasieu; and his sisters, Peggy Ruth Willis (David) of Calcasieu and Katie Pyle (Gene) of Winterset, IA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
