He is survived by: his children, David Alton Johnson of Woodstock, GA, Robert Douglas Johnson of Oakdale, Thomas Grant Johnson (Vonnie) of Commerce City, CO and Lisa Beth Pinckard (Matthew) of Moss Bluff; his siblings, Joseph Edward Johnson (Kathy) of New Llano and Lydia Holloway (Carl) of McNary; his grandchildren, Shaun Melancon, Ryan Melancon, Josh Sherrill, Adam Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Jr., Jacob Johnson and Zachary Johnson; his great grandchildren, Lillian Kate Melancon, Jordynn Mobley and Reid Allen Melancon; and his close friend Joe Potts.
