He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Janie Robinson Townley; his parents, Charles Howard Townley and Elsie Viola Braddy Townley; and his siblings, C. H. Townley Jr., Otis Townley, Alma Bennett, Yvonne Townley and Shirley Townley.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Wayne Townley (Kathleen) of Hineston, Betty Jean Frost (David) of Atlanta, TX, Sharon Bernice Boudreaux (Buddy) of Iowa, LA and Nelda Gay Ballard (Shannon) of Sulphur, LA; his siblings, Roger Townley (Ann) of Oakdale, LA, Donnie Townley (Sue) of Oakdale, LA and LaVonne Dixon of Denim Springs, LA; and his grandchildren, Lisa Pace (Jason), Angela Hyatt (Dwayne), Kristy Cogbill (Steve), Donald Richmond (D'Anna), Robyn Augustine (Monty), Julie Whatley (Timmy), Kerry Townley (Jessica), Merica Townley and Trista Scott. He is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
