He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Deumite and Norman Deumite; his wife Betty Deumite; his daughter Rose Anne DeLeo; his brothers, Ed Deumite, Alee Deumite and Phillip Deumite; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Hirsch, K. J. Thomas and Bob Hirsch; and his nephew Steve Deumite.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Deumite (Beverly), Dr. Joseph Deumite (Karen) and Libby Chop (David); his son-in-law Jim DeLeo; his siblings, Norman Deumite (Kay) and Ruth Thomas; his grandchildren, Cody Chop, Louis Deumite, John Deumite, Eryn Short (Chris), Kate Robert (Wesley), Haley Pulliam (Micah), Sarah Idan (Ofer) and Allie Allen (Thurston); and his friends, David Karam, Bob Maggard and Jack Kaleel. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
