He is survived by: his children, Michael Melder (Dana) of Elizabeth, Dianne Willis (Donnie) of West Monroe, Donna Chapman (David) of Beaver Creek, Sandra Sanderson (Bruce) of Oakdale, Lana Willis (Ervin) of Oakdale, Dana Stockman (Coley) of Oakdale, Gayla Causey of Beaver Creek and Melissa Strother (Warren) of Gonzales; and his brothers, Larry Melder of Elmer and Leo Melder (Dianne) of Texas. He is also survived by twenty six grandchildren; seventy two great grandchildren and twenty seven great great grandchildren.
