It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Johnson of Oakdale, Louisiana, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Johnson; his parents, Odis Johnson and Texie Johnson; his siblings, Wade Johnson and Claudette Sanders; and his granddaughter Callie Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Johnson (Teresa) of Arkansas, Reverend Brian Johnson (Heidi) of Oakdale and Karen Alston (Randy) of DeQuincy; his siblings, Robert Johnson of Oakdale, Blanche Pender of Oakdale and Marie Whitehead of Vidor, Texas; his grandchildren, Hannah Kaiser, Holly Hughes, Sadie Johnson, Shara Johnson, Anna Alston and Sara Orms; and his great grandchildren, Carson Kaiser, Caden Kaiser, Calah Kaiser and Wesley Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Association to be distributed among local missions, at address P. O. Box 643, Oakdale, LA, 71463.
