We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2023, at the age of 73, James Albert Whitley of Oakdale, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelly Whitley and Alma DeVore Whitley; and his sister Mary McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Linda Trevino Whitley of Oakdale; his daughters, Melissa Whitley of Alexandria and Jamie Whitley of Oakdale; and his grandson Zachary Strother.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Oakdale High School Alumni Association, P.O. Box 653, Oakdale, LA 71463.
