He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Shackleford and Minnie Shackleford; his son Russell Shackleford; and his siblings, Conroy Shackleford, Juanita Clifton and Myra Clifton.
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Crochet (Jeff) of Clifton, Theresa Rachal (Andre) of Alexandria, Charolette Harrell of Boyce and Preston Shackleford (Kim) of Schriever. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
