He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Clifton and Francis Clifton; his children, William "Billy" Clifton and Monica Clifton; and his sister Molly Clifton.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine Shackleford Clifton of Clifton; his children, Steve Clifton of Clifton and Karlieana "Pumpkin" Clifton of Clifton; his siblings, Douglas Clifton of Sulphur, Cornelius Clifton of Lancaster, CA., Peggy Tyler of Clifton and Louise Clifton of LaPlace; and his grandson Anthony Clifton of Florida.
