He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Rabalis Richard; his father Linus "Stone" Richard; and his grandparents, Phillip "Champ", Lula Lavergne Richard, Ambrose "Buster" and Mavis Johnson Wyeth Darce.
He is survived by: his son Chase Richard of Lafayette; his mother Mary (Glen Bourgeois) of Church Point; his siblings, Todd (Dana Richard) of Church Point, Phillip Richard of Church Point, John Linus (Chantel Richard) of Church Point and Angie (Joey DeVillier) of Church Point; and his stepsister Carla Richard of Church Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
