She is survived by: her children, James Brunson Sr. (Nikiea) of Oakdale and Brenda Brunson Simmons (Marlon) of Houston; her close friend Ambrouge Turner of Houston; her siblings, Minister Emma Keys (Horace) of Houston, Jessie Brunson of Houston, Annie Session of Jacksonville, Gertie Nicholas (Tyrone) of Alexandria and Robert Brunson of Houston; her grandchildren, James Brunson Jr., Candis Brunson, Ladonna Fletcher, Tiara Williams, Coby Brunson, Arnesshee Williams, Ariente'Williams and O'Shermaine Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Justice Brunson, Mariyah Brunson, Charles "Tre" Shird III, Canden Brunson, Cadance Brunson, Adrian Nutton, Ayden Williams, Kelyn Thomas, Kameron Thomas and Anayah Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
