It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Rush (Oakdale, Louisiana), who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Clark Rush; her husband Howard Jerald Rush, Sr.; her siblings, T. G. Clark, Vernon Clark, Sammie Clark and Geneva Clark Marshall; and her great grandchild Chapman Michael Petty.

She is survived by: her children, Howard "Jerald" Rush, II, Kenneth Ray Rush (Sharon), Kathryn Rush Smith and Kelly Rush Savoy (Patrick Savoy); her grandchildren, Howard Jerald "Jay" Rush, III, Joni Rush Oates, Dr. Laura Rush Petty, Daniel Ray Rush, Dr. David Alan Rush, Jessica Smith Hymel, Rush Alan Williams, John Ross Williams and Peyton Cole Savoy; and her great grandchildren, Richard Joseph "Rich" Oates, Jr., Davis Walker Oates, Westin Lewis Oates, Noah Jessie Kramer, Caroline Lee Petty, Christine Grace Petty and William Ray Rush.
