He was predeceased by: his parents, Vence, Sr. Leyser and Maggie Leyser; and his siblings, Raymond Leyser, Bill Leyser, Alma Mott, Mae Johnson and Ann Leyser.

He is survived by: his siblings, Vence Leyser, Jr. (Bobbie) of Calcasieu and Dorothy Bellard of Shreveport.
