It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Damiana Gallego Vidrine of Oakdale, Louisiana, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Remie Vidrine; her parents, Eugene Gallego and Zenona Gallego; and her brothers, Eugenio Gallego and Melecio Gallego.
She is survived by: her son Matthew Vidrine of Walker; her grandsons, Matthew Jr. and Samuel; her son Dr. Charles "Beau" Vidrine of Oakdale, Louisiana; and her sisters, Zenona "Nena" (Appleton Ware) of Oakdale, Loddie Gallego, Patricia Gallego of Houston and Mary Ann Gallego of Oakdale. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
