He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Byrne and Catherine C. Byrne (Connelly); and his siblings, William "Billy" Byrne and Catherine Byrne Zweben. He is survived by: his wife Carol Callahan Byrne; his children, Luke Byrne (Jinghui Zhang), Ingrid Byrne McAuliffe and Brianne Byrne-Hann (Tim); and his siblings, Jim Byrne (Kristine), Christopher Byrne (Maureen) and Mary Elizabeth Batich (Christoper).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Rush Funeral Home - Oakdale (113 S 11th St, Oakdale, LA 71463). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
