It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jean Slaney of Oakdale, Louisiana, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seab Doyle and Ivory Doyle; her husband Harold Slaney, Sr.; her sons, Shawn Slaney and Brian Slaney; and her granddaughters, Brittney Slaney and Bridgett Slaney.
She is survived by: her children, Harold L. "Bubba" Slaney, Jr. of Texarkana, TX, Mike "Freck" Slaney (Mylette) of Oakdale, Carl Tim Slaney of Oakdale and Carol Slaney (Bob) of Oakdale; her siblings, Fred Doyle (Gracie) of Oakdale, Tommy Sinclair (Helen) of Oakdale and Eva Doyle Richmond of Oakdale; and her granddaughters, Crystal Slaney and Meaghan Rowe. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
