He is survived by: his wife Geneva Landrum Tyler; his sons, James Tyler (Phillis) of Clifton, Joel Tyler (Annette) of Cut-Off and Jerald Tyler of Clifton; and his siblings, Ronald Tyler, Donald Tyler, Jimmie Tyler, Herman Tyler, Hazel Gunter, Kathleen Thomas, Vera Tyler, Alice Tyler and Eloise Tyler. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
