He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Marvin and Muriel Sumler Farris; his father-in-law Martin Radosta, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Martin Radosta, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Radosta Farris; his sons, Christopher Farris (Erica), Ben Farris (Ashley) and Scott Davis Farris (Marley); his grandchildren, Camryn Farris, Cayson Farris, Brylee Farris, Bryar Farris, Briggs Farris, Finley Farris and Elliott Farris; and his siblings, Shirley Hendrixson, Randall Farris and Robert Farris.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Rush Funeral Home - Oakdale (113 S 11th St, Oakdale, LA 71463). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Church (1013 E Whatley Rd, Oakdale, LA 71463).
