He was predeceased by: his daughter Carol Scoggins; his parents, Louis Calvin Scoggins and Sadie Ann Adcock Scoggins; and his siblings, Margaret Nolan, Aubrey Scoggins and Eldred Scoggins.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Scoggins of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his daughter Judy; his son-in-law Ronnie Parker of El Dorado, Arkansas; his son Mark Scoggins of Beckley; his grandchildren, Rodney Scoggins, Matthew Scoggins, Ben Scoggins, Brandi Boyd (Billy) and Hannah Scoggins; and his siblings, Hazel Lambert, Sybil Stevenson, Nancy Sivils, Sadie Strahan and Jack Scoggins. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
