He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Harris Shockley and Ludie Mae Grissett Shockley; and his sisters, Lagene Shockley, Claudyce Rodick and Lena Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Shockley of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; his daughter Kat Fontenot; his son-in-law John Fontenot of Collinston, Louisiana; his children, Connie Miller of Elaine, Arkansas and Buddy Dopson; his daughter-in-law Regina Dopson of El Dorado, Arkansas; his son Arthur Shockley; his daughter-in-law Lisa Shockley of Texarkana, Texas; and his grandchildren, Dwayne Ray Miller Sr., Darrell Lynn Miller, Jerry Don Miller Jr., Chase Dopson, Saber Caston and Shadow Caston. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
