It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxie Ray Kovac (Oak Grove, Louisiana), born in Carthage, Texas, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Ray and Odie Elise Ray (Hillman); and her brothers, Calvin Thomas Ray and Jerry Lynn Ray. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Kovac of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her son Kevin Ray; her daughter-in-law Carla Kovac of Kilbourne, Louisiana; her sons, David Ray Kovac of Sterlington, Louisiana and Steven Ray; her daughter-in-law Mary Margaret Kovac of Cleveland, Mississippi; her sister Lila Dee; her brother-in-law Robert Caswell of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her brother James Porter Ray of Topeka, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jenny Beth Burroughs (Jess), Kevin Ray Kovac, Jr. (Lacy), John Thomas Kovac, Laura Brooke Kovac, Amber Nichole Kovac, Caitlin Danielle Kovac, Steven Hunter Kovac (Maribeth), Hannah Claire Kovac, Bailey Grace Kovac, Mary Ansley Chrestman and Kathleen Allen Crestman; and her great great grandchildren, Bradley Ray Kovac, Mason Allen Kovac, James Thomas Burroughs, Lydia Elizabeth Burroughs and Karson James Kovac.
