He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Dumas and Ruth Dumas; his brother David Edward Dumas; and his half-siblings, Will Harvey Lewis, Glen Lewis, Shirley Welch and Phrona Ming.
He is survived by: his son Toby James Howard of Texas; his siblings, James Dumas (Toni) of Patterson, LA, Danny Dumas (Angie) of Marshall, TX and Janice Dumas of Oak Grove, LA; and his grandsons, Hunter Howard, Coby Howard, Porter Howard and Wyatt Howard.
