It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Schaefer (Oak Grove, Louisiana), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sue Morlock; his stepfather Fred Morlock; his sister Gloria Hoppmeyer; his brother-in-law Warren Hoppmeyer; and his niece Penny Sue Espenson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Costello Schaefer of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his sons, Richard Kurt Schaefer of Oak Grove and Robert Kyle Schaefer of Spring Lake; and his close friends, Mark, Sally Schaefer, Jack Hodges, Greg Rawdin, Ron Trevino, John Jenkins and Janice Herblin.
